Who is Alexander Putnik?
Originally from Chicago and now living in South Florida, Alex is a self taught photographer specializing in Fine Art, Portrait, Landscape, Nature, and Editorial Work. Alexander Has been involved with photography since early childhood, inheriting the passion from his father who was an avid photographer himself. Originally starting out with landscapes and nature, Alex was drawn to the beauty of the human form, most avidly to the limitless expressions of the human face.Most of his work as of late is geared in the direction of portrait art.
Alex's initial career in hairdressing has played an important role in his evolution as a photographer. The visualization needed to produce a haircut and the geometric and sculptural quality involved all aid the eye in framing a beautiful portrait. For Alex, photography represents the way he sees the world around himself. Being able to capture moments that will never come to be again, to preserve a memory, to create an image that leaves the viewer changed, these reasons drive Alex to create art.
